What was the highlight of Busan station Popcorn Hotel

Nice Place for a Short Stay!

- The location is very good. Right by the train station and down a side street. You can't miss it at night! - The shower area was huge and had double shower heads. It's good for couples, but maybe not families since there is clouded glass along one of the walls and the door. There is also no lock. - The heated floors were awesome during the winter! - The decor was really nice and modern. - There is a console that controls all the lighting and it's pretty techy and neat! - Check out time of 12 is the best!

- I wasn't sure of the check-out policy since the person behind the front desk didn't really say much. I figured it out, though, when I saw there was a drop box in the elevator, so it was fine. - The walls, as they are in most hotels, paper thin, so I heard a lot of noise when other guests were using the elevator and entering/exiting their rooms. - Not a lot of restaurants nearby, but the subway station is a quick walk down the road. Very convenient.

What was the highlight of Busan station Popcorn Hotel

Besides a few things this could be the perfect place to stay at in Busan

First of all the Motel is only 5mins walking distance away from the main train station. The staff is very nice and watches out for your safety. Check-in was easy and fast. The room is huge, has a wonderful bathroom area and the bed is super comfy and will get you a good rest at night! In the fridge you will find not only water but also some juice which we liked a lot :D The WiFi is stable and fast <3

The Hotel is actually a Motel, which makes a difference in Korea. We didn't mind it being a Motel, but we did mind that there was some stuff at the walls and on the night stand that suspiciously looked like a specific latex product. Would be nice if they get rid of those but other than that the whole room was very clean. It takes a while for the sink to get the warm water running and it's pretty weak. Don't look under the sink inside the drawer - that's the only place where mold was thrivingly growing.

What was the highlight of Busan station Popcorn Hotel

Well if it's only for one night.

The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were clean. The hall is quite large so there may be two or three people changing their shoes at once without problem. The sofa and the table are very useful if you order food. In addition, there is a spacious dressing table with a large mirror.

The entrance to the motel is small and a little dirty. The room is too humid, the feeling is the same as being inside a cave so for people with respiratory problems I don't recommend it. The musty smell was also unpleasant. The bathroom was a bit dirty but I guess it is due to rust and humidity.

Worth for money

Location of the place is very good, very close to Busan main station, easily to get everywhere around the city. With the reasonable price, it's worth for money. And we were quite surprised to have a 60' TV inside the room :)) Cool one though. Clean and comfortable also.

Cheap spacious motel which is a bit dirty but okay for short stay to explore Busan

Very large room (suite) compared to other hotel rooms in Korea and Japan. Location was really good as we arrived with Beetle ferry and could walk to the motel. Staff was helpful. There is a local chinatown nearby which is full of russians and other thai people and hookers.

Room lights are controlled with central unit, so it was bit weird to walk to the main room to turn on WC lights. I had to guess buttons as everything is written in Korean. There is no manual how to use lights. Also WC lights turn off automatically after some time. AC was controlled with TV remote so we had to ask from reception if there even is a remote. We laughed when they told it is controlled with TV remote. Room was dirty when we arrived. Some fresh drinks spilled on the chair so the first thing I had to do was clean the room. Motel is probably used for sex like someone else commented here. Counter is really small and you cant see the clerk unless you bend. There are no full size towels, luckily I had my own towel. This is pretty much what you get for the price. Its a bit dirty place, but room is very large and the rooms are cheap. It is just fine for a short stay if you don't mind the dirtiness. I would give higher rating if the place was cleaned properly. No proper window to get fresh air or see outside.

Location was good. Staff were nice.

Air con let out a terrible smell. Bed linen felt like it had bed mites. Very stuffy room. Can smell the damp in the air so made it difficult to breathe.

No value for money here

Location is conveniently close to the Busan station and metro station.

Room was spacious, well equipped but dirty. There were stains on the bedsheets. Bathroom was all wet when we checked in. Could not sleep because of the mosquitoes and spent all night hunting for them. Walls and ceiling were dirty too. After the first terrible night we just moved to another hotel nearby and didn’t get any refund for other 3 nights paid (but that was expected).

Nice Motel (not Hotel) near train station

Room had all the amenities I could ask for and it was short distance to train station

This is not a hotel but a motel so it's not for a family trip, they don't allow people under 19 years old. Most customers are locals that come for quick sex. You can notice the sex advertisements and how the entrance has it's privacy for this purpose (for example, you can't see the staff's face in the counter when you are getting your room key if you don't lower your head lol) Some people like my dad would freak out to go to a place like this, luckily I went with my mom and we had a good laugh about it :)

You get what you pay for

Although the room was small, it had all the amenities, including charging cables for all types of gadgets. Had a coffee machine in the lobby, which was a nice touch for that price point. Nothing interesting in the neighbourhood but it is a convenient one-night stay if you need to catch the train the next day.

It was more of a love motel than a guesthouse - but not that it is sleazy or anything. Just might have to bear that in mind if you are expecting a family-friendly place. The beds are very low, so may want to reconsider if you are travelling with elderly folks. The water heater stopped working in the middle of a shower.

There is no heater. Heating floor only available therefore the bed is the warmest one and when you sleep you will be getting hot
